Submission Guidelines

Read Sacred Athena's submission guidelines and the current status of contributions to this educational project about the Greek goddess Athena.

Public submissions are currently closed.

The subjects welcomed by this site include Athena’s mythology, local cults, sacred service, material culture, philosophical reception, and contemporary devotional writing. Historical work should provide traceable references. New prayers, poems, and personal reflections should identify their modern authorship and should not be presented as recovered ancient texts.

Writers preparing material for possible future submission should retain source details, permissions for any quoted or reproduced material, and a short description of the piece’s purpose. Personal information about other people should be included only with their authorization.
